My novel the Travel Team is about a boy named Danny who trys out for his seventh grade travel team but is cut because of his size not because of his skill set his father is a famous basketball player who once led this same travel team to the national championship and won it many years ago
So far i like my novel one of the main things i like about this novel is how they make the main charcter have all the skills in the world to be a good pointgaud but is cut because he is to short

Why does that last party make you like the novel? Do you identify with the player? Does it ring true based on other things you have seen in your experience?
the reason i like that part of the novel because the reason he got cut relates to alot of things today if you look around sports bigger is better in most people eyes even at a young age for example in the paper the other day they were listing the highschool basketball teams and what should be expected out of them but almost every player they listed they listed there hight rite next to them showing in eyes that a enfisis on the size of the team
