With having a math degree there are some good benefits, like being mentally smarter and good job opportunities. In addition to just teaching, there are many other jobs to get hired for , because you have a math degree. Such as banking, investment firms, government agencies, accounting firms, real estate firms, egineering firms, etc, just to name a few. There are lots of degrees you can choose from. With any of those degrees that major in math, they can and probably will get you a great job. Which means you don't have to break your neck for a job, because there are lots of employers looking for math majors for their jobs. Your critical thinking skills will get increase gradually as will your problem solving skills. As in you won't be struggling to do problems in your head that involves money. Math will help for getting a job, and just being an all around smarter person.

I agree with having a math degree can be a very good benefit because im the type that love math and understand that math is the most common subject used in everyday life no matter what job you have good or great no matter what you doing yur most likely using math!
